Chilly Nights Ahead
A steady warm-up is on the way, but temperatures will remain well-below average for the time being.
The sunshine has come out in full force for the second half of the weekend, but temperatures will remain well-below average for the next several days. Expect highs to buzz around the upper 60s and lower 70s in the Piedmont and Foothills to start out the workweek, while the High Country will struggle to get out of the 50s for much of the day. Temperatures should steadily warm back up into the 80s by next weekend, but highs should remain 10º below average for the time being. Our next rain chance should come late next week, as well, as the remnants of current Tropical Storm Beta swirl our way.
