Weekend Fall Feels
We lucked out yesterday with the best case scenario playing out as the heavy rain from Sally moved quickly through the area. Rainfall totals topped out at 3.5″ with most of the area receiving under 2″ of rainfall. Highs today will reach the upper 70s with peaks of sunshine this afternoon. A cold front will bring cooler and drier air for the weekend. Highs will reach the upper 60s Saturday. Sunday morning will be crisp with lows in the upper 40s. This fall feel will extend appropriately for the first day of fall early next week. Temps will gradually warm to the upper 70s by Wednesday, but rain chances remain minimal.
