Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for strong to severe storms for areas southeast of I-85 on Friday.

THREATS: The primary threat with this next weather maker will be isolated flash flooding, but an isolated strong storm producing damaging wind is not out of the question. The tornado risk for Friday is low, but it is not zero. Stay weather aware through the day on Friday.

TIMING: (RAIN) Early morning Friday through mid-day. (SEVERE THREAT) Southeast of I-85 – afternoon into early evening. Roughly 2 pm-7pm.

RAIN AMOUNTS: 1-3 inches with isolated higher amounts.
