LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Officers charged Matthew Combs, 18, with second degree murder after police say he shot and killed a 13-year-old in Lincolnton, N.C. on September 23rd, according to a news release.

Investigators say Gabriel Teems, 13, was found with gunshot wounds and wasn’t breathing when officers arrived at the scene on Highland Drive around 3:41 p.m. and unsuccessfully tried to revive Teems.
Combs is being held without a bond, according to a news release.
