CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In honor of National Comic Book Day we checked in with our friends at Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find for some recommendations. On the superhero front the recent run of Thor is quite popular. If non-superhero stories are more your thing check out ‘Zebedee and the Valentines.’ Some WCCB staff favorites include the classic ‘90s Spiderman saga ‘Spider Phoenix,’ ‘Batman: The Long Halloween,’ Craig Thompson’s ‘Blankets’ and the ‘Y: The Last Man’ series.
