While Will Healy is staying positive in the midst of the pandemic, you can’t blame Charlotte’s head football coach for being just a tad bit skeptical.  After all, the 49ers last two games were cancelled due to COVID-19 including last week’s matchup with Georgia State, which was called off just one day before it was scheduled.

To make things even more frustrating, the Panthers later announced that their Coronavirus test results were misread, and that they could have played on Saturday after all.

Chalk another one up to 2020, right?

Through it all, the 49ers players and coaches are doing their best to stay focused and stay in the moment.

Healy says whether this weekend’s Conference USA opener at Florida Atlantic happens or not, their goal remains the same. Get better each and every day.
