Fall Feels Spill into the Carolinas
Evening lingering showers possible in wake of a cold front. Expect rain to taper off through the evening with cooler and drier air building in.
Temperatures are falling quickly in wake of an afternoon cold front. Behind the front – drier air, more sunshine, and cooler temperatures arrive for the second half of the week. Expect decreasing clouds through Wednesday morning with high temperatures for the remainder of the week in the 60s and 70s with low temperatures in the 40s and 50s. Temperatures on Thursday will likely climb into the upper 70s as a reinforcing cold front moves through the area. This front will not bring any rain, it will just bring cooler temperatures for Friday and the weekend. The Mountains will see overnight lows in the 30s and 40s by the end of the week.
