SHELBY, N.C. — Crest High School officials say they are closing the school for in-person learning after multiple positive cases of coronavirus.
Students will engage in remote learning until Thursday, October 15th when they will be allowed back in the classroom, according to a news release.
The Cleveland County Health Department, along with Cleveland County Schools, say they made the decision to close the school to avoid spreading the virus even further.
Cleveland County Schools say they will review practices and protocols related to this situation.
