Wonderful Weekend Ahead
Sunny skies and lovely highs continue for the next five days.
After a lovely week, the remarkably beautiful conditions continue into the weekend. Expect temperatures to top out 5-10º below normal for the next several days, as highs end up around 60º in the High Country and around 70º in the Piedmont and Foothills. Stable, dry air filtering in from the northeast will keep the skies mostly clear through the weekend into next week, with no real changes expected over the next five days. While the days will be nice, the nights will be on the chilly side, with lows in the 30s and 40s expected across the Carolinas this weekend. A frost advisory is in effect Friday and Saturday night for our mountain counties. Near-normal highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s should return by midweek next week.
