Pleasant Stretch Continues…For Now..

Waking up to a crisp start this morning with temps in the 40s and 50s across the region. Highs will reach the mid-70s this afternoon under sunny skies. Temps will climb back into the low 80s by mid-week. Clouds increase Thursday with the return of showers late Friday. Keeping our eyes on the tropics with two tropical systems. Gamma will not be a threat to the US but will bring flooding rain to the Yucatan peninsula over the next few days. Newly formed Tropical Storm Delta is one to watch though, as models have this storm making moves towards the Louisiana coast by late this week as a category two hurricane. The weekend looking a little soggy with showers and even a storm, or two Saturday and Sunday as the remnants of Delta reach the Carolinas, but we could see some timing changes with the rain depending on the track of this storm.
