LSU To Stop Wellness Checks At Football Games

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

LSU is loosening some restrictions for its football games.

LSU athletics department says it’s stopping medical wellness checks to reduce lines and wait times to enter their stadium. Fans are still encouraged to self-assess for COVID-19 symptoms.

Alcohol will also be sold at games, but drinks can only be consumed at assigned seats.

Masks are still required during the entire game. LSU says during their first game, a large percentage of fans removed their masks while in their seat, which is not allowed.
