Cloudy, Dreary Start to the Week

Showers are wrapping up across the region after the heavy rain and storms from the remnants of Delta yesterday. Foggy start this morning with a dense fog advisory for the mountains. A few areal flood advisories linger through 9am for Rowan County. We’ll begin to dry out today with highs reaching the upper 70s this afternoon. A weak boundary will clear the area Tuesday with cooler temps to follow. Highs will reach the mid 70s Wednesday with overnight lows falling into the upper 40s to lower 50s. A stronger front will bring showers back to the region Friday with much cooler temps this weekend. Highs won’t get out of the low 60s by Saturday.
