Women And Men Do It Differently When It Comes To Mask Wearing

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A new study from researchers at Yale and New York University shows women are better than men at following COVID precautions, including wearing a mask. Researchers spent time in the streets of New York City, New Haven, Connecticut, and New Brunswick, New Jersey to count how many people were wearing a mask and wearing them correctly.

Out of the people observed, 55% of women wore their mask correctly compared to 38% of men. ScaryMommy.com reports that researchers also observed that women get their pandemic precautions from experts, politicians, and what they see on social media, which causes more anxiety.

Our question of the night: who wears a mask more often in your life, men or women?
