Foggy Start; Sunshine Returns Late Today

A foggy start to the morning with a dense fog advisory through 9 am. A cold front moving through the area this morning will bring a few showers to the mountains, but drier and cooler air for the afternoon areawide. Temps will fall from the upper 70s this afternoon to the upper 40s tonight. Pleasant fall weather for Wednesday and Thursday with highs reaching the mid-70s under sunny skies. Another cold front will bring more showers late Thursday into Friday. Much cooler for the weekend with daytime highs not getting out the mid to upper 60s, as overnight lows fall into the lower 40s.
