Cooper, Forest Face Off In North Carolina Gubernatorial Debate
RALEIGH, N.C. – Governor Roy Cooper and Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest debated the issues facing North Carolina ahead of the 2020 election in the one and only gubernatorial debate.
In the debate on Wednesday, October 14th Forest criticized Cooper for reopening schools and businesses too slowly, while Cooper said he is looking out for the health of North Carolinians as positive cases go up in the state.
The two debated issues of climate change, diversity, healthcare, natural disasters, and reopening amid COVID-19.
