$2,500 Reward Offered In Gastonia Church Shooting Case

GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia police are asking for the public’s help after a woman was shot in the parking lot of a Gastonia church in January.

According to police, in this shooting and possible attempted murder case a woman was leaving a meeting at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located on Davis Park Road, when the unknown suspect walked up to her and fired two shots.

The victim was injured by the gunfire and reportedly rushed to the hospital.

The incident happened on January 15, 2020.

Her family is offering a $1,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest and Crime Stoppers of Gaston County pays up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest for a total possible reward of $2,500 in this case.
