Slight Rain Chance Ahead of Big Cool Down

Scattered showers possible late Thursday night heading through the first half of the day on Friday. Drying out for the weekend!Β

Increasing clouds and humidity continue to spill across the WCCB area as we sit ahead of an approaching cold front. The cold front will bring scattered showers to the area late Thursday through the first half of Friday. General thunderstorms are possible, but this front will not bring anything in the way of severe weather or flooding. The cold front will move in and out quickly, therefore the cold air will arrive on Friday! Expect highs Friday into the weekend to only top out in the 60s with lows in the 40s. The mountains will see highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s Friday through the weekend. The first freeze of the season across the High Country is likely this weekend.
