Farm Animal Friendly – How New East Side Bottle Shop, Bart’s Mart, is Giving Back

A cool vibe with an even cooler mission to give back to Farm Animal Rescue

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Want to help save a turkey this Thanksgiving?  You’d better grab a drink a Bart’s Mart.  The new bottle shop in east Charlotte, named for owner Justin Graham’s grandmas’ boyfriend, gives back to farm animal rescue.  During the month of November, one dollar from every draft purchase will go to help save a turkey.  In their first month open, they raised enough money to sponsor a chicken.

“What we hope to do is bring something to the East Side since we’ve lived here, we’ve wanted here,” says Graham.  Their neighbors include VisArt, EastSide Local Eatery, Tommy’s Pub and Dairy Queen, relocated from its historic Plaza Midwood location.  “I’m just so happy to be a part of the East Side.  We’re so fortunate that this space opened up just in time for us to come here.”
