Sunshine Stays, Warmth Waxes

Rain chances remain few and far between for the near-future. Enjoy!

It’s been a lovely weekend so far, and the good times will keep on rolling into the workweek ahead. Some of us north and west of the Charlotte woke up to patchy frost this weekend, but much warmer air will settle in for the days ahead. After dealing with temperatures well-below normal for the past few days, temperatures should jump 5-10º above average beyond Monday. Despite the changes in the temperatures, stable air will continue its stranglehold on the Southeast, keeping rain chances at bay for the better part of the next five days. Expect highs to top out near 80º in the Piedmont by midweek, while the High Country will cozy up into the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Tonight: Clear and cold. Low: 46°. Wind: Light.

Monday Night: Cool and calm. Low: 54°. Wind: Light.

Tuesday: Warm sunshine. High: 78°. Wind: Light.
