Do You Think North Carolina Will Be Ready To Re-Open By November 13th?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Governor Cooper says we will stay in phase three until at least November 13th. The metrics just keep moving in the wrong direction. It comes as an outbreak at a west Charlotte church reaches more than 68 COVID cases, 2 deaths. Also, North Carolina reached a sad milestone of more than 4,000 lives lost.

Mecklenburg County Deputy Health Director Dr. Raynard Washington says he personally told the United House of Prayer on Beatties Ford Road to not hold anymore large gatherings. He says, “We are unaware of just how many individuals were potentially exposed or may come to be infectious either with or without symptoms so we are continuing to monitor the situation closely.”

State officials sent a letter to counties offering suggestions to slow the spread, including tighter restrictions than the state has in place.

So our question of the night: do you think November is still too soon to re-open?
