Rudy Giuliani: “I Was Tucking In My Shirt” After Borat Movie Stills Show Him With Woman In Hotel Room, Lying On Bed
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Former Mayor of New York and President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani is feeling the heat after pictures from a scene from the upcoming Borat film surfaced, and show Giuliani in a compromising situation.
In the film, Giuliani and a young woman posing as a reporter, go into a hotel bedroom after completing what Giuliani believed to be a real interview about the coronavirus pandemic and Trump’s response to it.
The room was set up with hidden cameras and captured the 76-year-old lying on the bed with his hands in his pants, as the woman stands over him. Giuliani claims he was taking off his microphone from the interview. The two are eventually interrupted by Cohen, who bursts into the bedroom as Borat, shouting, “She’s 15. She’s too old for you!”
Giuliani later filed a report with the NYPD over the summer. And now, Giuliani tweeted a response to the clip saying, “The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise, he is a stone-cold liar.”
Skeptics on Twitter wrote things like, “Yeah, yeah, Rudy, we all lie flat down on the bed to tuck our shirt in,” and, “The Tucker doth protest too much me-thinks.”
Sacha Baron Cohen has only replied in character, as Borat, and in defense of Giuliani.
Our question of the night: how does anyone still get fooled by Borat?
