Sycamore Brewing’s ‘Rising Hope’ IPA Raises Money to Fight Pediatric Cancer

CHARLOTTE, NC–

COVID may be changing how we celebrate fall this year, but everyone can still find a reason to raise a glass – while doing good. Local breweryΒ SycamoreΒ BrewingΒ has teamed up with craft breweries around the country to help fight pediatric cancer – just by drinking a pint of a limited-edition β€œRising Hope” signature IPA.

The program givesΒ back to theΒ National Pediatric Cancer FoundationΒ (NPCF) withΒ Brewing Funds the Cure, designed to raise serious awareness and critical funds for life-saving pediatric cancer research and treatments. Participating breweries likeΒ SycamoreΒ Brewing donate 100% of the profits from β€œRising Hope” to NPCF. Β

43Β children in the U.S are diagnosed with cancer each day, and yet only 4% of the billions spent on cancer research goes toward childhood cancer treatment. Participating breweries and NPCF partners are looking to change that – so beer lovers are invited toΒ give back by sippingΒ on a cold one for a cause this month.

We talked with Co-founder ofΒ Sycamore Brewing, Sarah Brigham and Director of Development of National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Chris Gieb to learn more.
