CMPD Detectives Identify Victim In Northeast Charlotte Fatal Shooting

Detectives identified the gunshot victim as 22-year-old O’Bryant Robinson, according to a news release.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives say a victim died from an apparent gunshot wound shortly before 2:30 a.m. on October 24th.

Officers responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon at a home on Potenza Drive, and they found the victim that medics later declared dead at the scene, according to a news release.

Detectives say the investigation is active, and anyone with more information is asked to call 704-432-TIPS to speak with a homicide detective or Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
