Unionville Elementary Moves To Remote Learning After Positive COVID Cases

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Union County Public School officials say Unionville Elementary is moving to remote learning for the next two weeks after two positive cases of coronavirus.

The school will be closed for in-person learning from October 26th through November 6th, after a staff member and student tested positive for COVID-19, according to a news release.

Union County Public Schools staff say they are working to find out who was in contact with these individuals and provide guidance.

Health officials say all students and staff will work remotely until Monday, November 9th while the school follows cleaning guidelines and disinfects the facility.
