Fyre Festival Founder Billy McFarland Launches Podcast From Prison

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fyre Festival founder Billy McFarland is making waves after temporarily being placed in solitary confinement for releasing a trailer for his new tell-all podcast. It comes two years after he pleaded guilty to fraud charges for his role in organizing the festival.

The podcast, titled Dumpster Fyre, features host Jordan Harbinger interviewing McFarland from prison about his actions leading up to the infamous music festival that never happened. McFarland recorded the first 15-minute episode over a prison phone and claimed any money generated from the series will go toward the $26 million he owes Fyre Festival investors.

Our question of the night: should Billy McFarland be able to do a podcast from prison?
