On October 24th officers responded to an armed robbery around 10:30 p.m. on Ballantyne Country Club Drive, where a victim reported two armed suspects came up to him, pointed a gun at him, and tried to pull him out of his car, according to a news release.
Detectives say after the two suspects heard someone witnessing the crime, they pointed a gun at the witness and fled from the scene in a vehicle, according to a news release.
Officers say not even 25 minutes later they responded to reports of another armed robbery on Fox Hedge Road, where victims leaving their cars say two armed suspects demanded their personal property and took off in one of their cars, a 2011 Porsche Cayenne.
Investigators say officers located the stolen Porsche after 11:45 p.m. heading north on Interstate 77 and entered into a pursuit to pull over the stolen vehicle after the driver, Allen, refused to stop for police.
Police say Allen eventually stopped and got out of the Porsche gun in hand, and both suspects fled on foot into the woods nearby.
Officers found Allen and Brown and arrested the two shortly after midnight after taking an AR-15, 9mm pistol, and drugs from the pair.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with more information on these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
