Cooler Air Dominates the Carolinas
A nice cool down dominates the weekend with widely scattered showers on Sunday.
A Frost Advisory is in effect for areas northwest of I-85. Bring in sensitive vegetation or cover them!
Weekend high temperatures will only top out in the 60s with low temperatures in the 30s and 40s. In the Mountains low temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s for the next 7 days! Halloween looks dry with high temperatures near 60°. On Sunday, a cold front will bring the chance for widely scattered showers with a reinforcing shot of cold air for the beginning of next week. Low temperatures on Monday morning will bottom out in the 30s across the Piedmont and 20s in the Mountains. Temperatures drop a bit more by Tuesday morning which will allow many of us to drop at or below freezing with frost likely.
