North Carolina State Board Of Elections Extends Voting At 4 Polling Places

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State Board of Elections leaders say voting at four precincts have been extended after they opened late this morning.

Officials say Cabarrus County voting is extended for 17 more minutes, until 7:47 p.m., at First Missionary Baptist Church.

Voting will be extended by 34 minutes in Guilford County at Bluford Elementary School, according to a news release.

Officials say two precincts in Sampson County have extended their voting times, with voting at the Plainview Fire Station precinct being extended for 45 minutes to 8:15 p.m. and voting at Sampson County Adult Daycare precinct being extended for 24 minutes to 7:54 p.m.

North Carolina has 2,660 Election Day polling places, and once polling places close across the state, election results will be posted here, according to a news release.
