Edge On The Clock: “Hyperloop” Has Successful 1st Test Ride With People
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An unproven transportation system called a Hyperloop has successfully given its first test ride with humans on board. The Virgin Hyperloop uses magnets and vacuum tubes to move pods. The goal is to reach 600 miles per hour with low energy, but the test run was much slower due to the length of the track. Virgin Hyperloop is still raising money for a six-mile test facility.
Plus, Red Lobster is out with a special treat for the holidays: limited-edition cheddar bay biscuit gift boxes. The boxes, filled with a half-dozen cheesy treats, will be available starting November 16th.
And, a Georgia woman is facing charges after police say she posed as a federal agent and demanded free food from employees at a local Chick-Fil-A and threatened to arrest them if they didn’t give her any.
