Edge On The Clock: FDA Approves NightWare System To Treat PTSD Patients
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The FDA has approved a NightWare system to treat PTSD patients with Apple watches. It allows clinicians to monitor patients who have traumatic nightmares, which have been linked with higher suicide rates. The app also vibrates when it senses the patient is in the middle of nightmare and can gently wake that person up. NightWare can only be downloaded with a prescription.

And, Collins Dictionary has named “lockdown” its word of the year. And, more than half of its shortlisted top 10 words are related to the coronavirus pandemic, including the words “coronavirus” and “pandemic” themselves.
