Kannapolis Police Investigate The Homicide Of A 17-Year-Old

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Officers with the Kannapolis Police Department say 17-year-old Jaiden Yates was shot and killed on November 13th in Kannapolis.

Police responded to the shooting on West 13th Street around 9:30 p.m. to find Yates with a gunshot wound and immediately began CPR, but officers were unable to save him, according to a news release.
