Local Charity Delivers Thanksgiving Meals To Dogs Of The Humane Society Of Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials with the Humane Society of Charlotte say they got a special Thanksgiving surprise, including a chicken and rice lunch for HSC’s dogs.

Bruce Wilhoit with Zone 6, a local charity, says they delivered nutritious and dog-friendly meals to the Humane Society this afternoon for the holiday.

“We are very excited to be able to do this for the animals for Thanksgiving,” says Wilhoit.

Wilhoit says Zone 6 helps the community by bringing food to local homeless companion animals, providing awareness of spay/neuter programs, and by spending time with the animals.
