Rain Clears for Warm Thanksgiving Afternoon
Waking up to showers this Thanksgiving. Rain will taper off as it moves east through the morning. Drying out this afternoon with highs reaching the lower 70s. Overnight lows will drop into the low 50s this evening with another warm day tomorrow. Highs will reach the low 70s Friday with the mid-60s in-store Saturday. Clouds fill in Saturday evening with rain returning Sunday evening into Monday. Rain will likely be heavy at times and we will be monitoring the chance for localized flooding. If you’re traveling, make sure you are keeping up with the latest info, and if possible try to return a little early on Sunday or extend your trip until Tuesday until the rain moves out. Much colder air moves in for Tuesday. Likely going to see a changeover to snow for the mountains with trace to up to an inch possible for elevations above 3500′ and even up to 2-3″ for the highest elevations. Highs will only reach the 40s areawide Tuesday with well below average temps for the rest of the week.
