Mild Weekend, Rain Returns Sunday

Waking up to widespread fog this morning. A dense fog advisory will be in effect until 9am. This afternoon will bring the return of mild temps and some sunshine across the region. Highs will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s. Temps will remain above average throughΒ The weekend with the mid-60s for Saturday. Overcast skies return Sunday. A strong system will bring wet weather back to the region late Sunday into early next week. Rain will be steady and at times very heavy. Localized flooding could be a concern. Colder air following behind this system. Likely some wrap around moisture will collide with theΒ colder air and bring snow for spots above 3500′ – we’re talking a dusting to up to 1″ but could see 2-3″ for the highest elevations. Much colder next week with highs only reaching the mid 40s by Tuesday.
