Troopers: One Man Dead, One Man Injured After Fatal Collision In York County

CLOVER, S.C. — Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say the driver of a 2007 Saturn SUV died on November 28th after colliding with another car around 4:30 p.m.

Troopers say the driver of the Saturn was heading west on South Carolina Highway 557 near Parham Road, when they traveled over the center line and hit a 2005 Dodge pickup heading east on the same highway.

Investigators say the driver of the Dodge, 49-year-old William Dean, was injured in the crash, and police have not yet identified the driver of the Saturn who died at the scene.
