CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — The Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) received a special Thanksgiving delivery from Zone 6 NC – a chicken and rice lunch for HSC’s dogs. Bruce Wilhoit, Zone 6 NC Founder and Head of Operations and former HSC employee, set up the special dog-friendly dinner delivery.
“We are very excited to be able to do this for the animals for Thanksgiving,” said Wilhoit.
Zone 6 NC, is an organization dedicated to helping the community through service, continued education, and training regardless of age, race, religion, or disability. Among their other charitable initiatives, Zone 6 NC helps local homeless companion animals in our community by sending food to local shelters, making people aware of spay/neuter programs, and sharing their time and energy with Charlotte’s furry friends.
