Timeline for COVID Vaccine Distribution Becoming Clearer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wednesday, the U.K. became the first country in the world to approve emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine.

The FDA could follow next week.

We’re now getting a better idea of how the initial vaccine rollout will work.

Doctors at Atrium Health say they anticipate immunizing the first people in line, healthcare workers, by the end of the month.

That timeline could move up, with news Wednesday that some states could get the Pfizer vaccine by December 15th.
