South End Small Business Saturdays Continue
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — This weekend continues the holiday shopping season and South End Small Business SaturdayS presented by Fifth Third Bank. It may look a little different this year, but our concept is the same: Shopping small supports big dreams. Our local South End retailers and makers provide a unique holiday shopping experience for all. Explore the shops, restaurants, and breweries that make South End special, and grab the best holiday gifts the region has to offer! #NeighborhoodGoals.
Each weekend starting through December 19th pop-up vendors hit the already booming retail scene in South End:
December 4 | Design Center (101 W. Worthington Ave.), 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
December 12 | Atherton Plaza (2000 South Blvd.), 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
December 19 | Design Center (101 W. Worthington Ave.), 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
You don’t have to wait until Saturday to shop small, there are incredible brick and mortar business that make South End shine. Adventure through former textile mills turned shops, like Atherton Mill and the Design Center, and you’ll find everything from furniture to fashion to food. When you invest in your local artisans and makers, you are investing in an entrepreneur’s dream. By shopping small, you can become a small business hero. Our Small Biz Hero Card encourages you to spend your money locally, with prizes in return, of course. Spend at least $10 at participating small businesses to get a sticker – do this five times and you are ready for your South End tote bag or t-shirt from Fifth Third Bank branches on Camden Road or near New Bern Station.
