Sunny Today, Rain Returns Friday

It’s another COLD start with temps in the 20s and 30s. Luckily, the wind chill is a non-issue, however, that means we have some frost across the region, so you may need a few extra minutes to get the frost off your windshield. Temps will warm to the 50s across the region with mostly sunny skies in the forecast. Clouds fill in late with rain chances on the rise Friday. Likely, we’ll see a changeover to freezing rain/snow for the mountains overnight Friday into Saturday so be on the lookout for any slick spots. Drying out quickly Saturday, but it will be windy! Gusts 40-50 mph will not be out of the question. Cool and dry for Sunday with slightly below average temps into the next week.
