Local Charlotte Business Donates Hundreds Of Toys
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This year more families need help for the holidays. A record number of angels have been adopted through the Salvation Army Virtual Angel Tree.
Employees at design-build firm A M King bought hundreds of dollars worth of clothes, toys and bikes.
They loaded them up Monday onto the Salvation Army Truck.
The gifts will support about 150 angels.
“We understand that this year more than ever, there’s a lot more families and children in need,” A M King Vice President Daniel Crist said. “Those of us here at AM King understand that the fortunate position we’re in. That we can help these families and these children.”
If you adopted an angel this year the deadline to drop off your gifts is Wednesday. Click here to be connected to your drop off locations across the area.
