UPDATE: Gastonia Police say the Amber Alert for Kaysie Jay Lipscomb has been canceled, after she was found safe in Union County, NC in the Stallings area.
The Union Co. Sheriff’s Office has taken suspect Raheem Tyshawn Pate into custody on unrelated charges.
No other details have been released.
GASTONIA, N.C. – An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing child.
The Gastonia Police Department is searching for 3-year-old Kaysie Jay Lipscomb.
She is described as being approximately 2 feet 0 inches tall, weighing 40 pounds.
She has black hair, and brown eyes and was wearing blue tights with polka dots and snowflakes.
Investigators are looking for suspect Raheem Tyshawn Pate.
Pate is described as 31 years old, male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 250 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and is missing two teeth
The vehicle police are searching for is a white 2017 Chevrolet Malibu with NC license tag number HLE9661.
