Lori Loughlin is released from her two month prison sentence
Actress Lori Loughlin has been released from prison after serving a two-month sentence for her role in the college admission scandal, where more than 50 parents were found paying for their children to get into the nation’s top schools. Loughlin along with her husband Mossimo Gianulli pleaded guilty to conspiracy. Loughlin served a two-month prison sentence and will have to complete 100 hours of community service and pay a $150,000 fine.
Social media has been sounding off, saying things like “Her punishment was correct. Public humiliation. Loss of $500,000. Labeled as a felon with all it entails.” As well as, “I’m excited to see Lori Loughlin star in the Hallmark movie titled “No Loughlin Matter: The Lori Loughlin Story.”
