Mild Start to the Week
A weak boundary will bring a few showers to the mountain region today. Otherwise, expect a mild afternoon with temps reaching the mid-50s. Tonight, we may get a few flurries across the higher elevations, but that will taper off before midnight. Lows will dip into the mid-30s for the rest of the region. Through mid-week expect temps to fluctuate a few degrees on either side of average with the coldest day coming Wednesday as highs only reach the upper 40s. Big changes to end the year and begin in 2021. A strong system will bring warm temps with highs in the low 60s Thursday and upper 60s to lower 70s for new Year’s Day. It is still too far out to know for sure, but it will be a day to watch for strong storms.
