Man Facing Voluntary Manslaughter Charges In Deadly Northwest Charlotte Stabbing
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they charged a man with voluntary manslaughter after he stabbed another man to death during a domestic situation in northwest Charlotte, according to a news release.
Officers say they were called to Ledson Court shortly before 9:30pm in reference to a domestic violence call. When they arrived on scene, officers say they found 51-year-old John Paul Cousar dead with an apparent stab wound inside the residence.
James Alexander Jackson, 53, was arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter. No other details have been released at this time.
