Lawmakers In Washington Say They Will Not Let Mob Stop Them From Constitutional Duty

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Congress is back in session, counting the electoral college votes to confirm Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States. Lawmakers saying they would not let the mob of rioters who ransacked the Capitol earlier Wednesday stop them from doing their constitutional duty.

The joint session of Congress resumed its work around 9PM, to certify the 2020 presidential election results. The Senate has voted to reject an objection to Arizona’s electoral votes.
