Sunshine Returns Tuesday Afternoon

Showers will gradually taper off this morning. Patchy fog will linger through mid-morning for some. Clouds will clear through the day.

Depending on how quickly these clouds move out will decide how warm temps will get late this afternoon. Likely going to have a slower go at warming up for the mountains with highs only reaching the upper 30s, but expect a nice boost in temps across the piedmont with highs reaching the mid-50s. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 20s.

It will be dry and sunny through Thursday. Daytime highs will be above average as well with highs reaching the mid to upper 50s.

A strong cold front will bring scattered showers across the Piedmont late Friday and a wintry mix for the mountains. Much cooler for the weekend.
