Overnight Fog with Thursday Sunshine
Rain chance returns on Friday.
Isolated sprinkles possible overnight as a weak disturbance moves across the area, but most of us stay dry. Fog will once again develop overnight and visibility could be as low as 0 miles, so allow extra time for your Thursday morning commute. Low temperatures across the Piedmont will be just above freezing, but areas at or below freezing (northern Piedmont and Foothills) could possibly see Freezing Fog Thursday morning. Sunshine returns through Thursday with high temperatures in the 50s. Our next weather system arrives on Friday bringing scattered showers through the second half of the day into Friday evening. Cooler temperatures rush in for the weekend with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s and 30s.
