Charlotte Group Pushes For An End To Violence
CHARLOTTE — A local group wants to see an end to the violence in Charlotte. The group, ‘Stop Killing Our Children’, hosted a “Stop the Violence” march in South Charlotte Saturday.
Organizers want to bring awareness to the persistent problem of crime in the city. Activists are calling on the community to step up and help make a change.
“We need the homicide rate to decrease in our city, because there are too many families losing their loved ones due to homicide,” says Stephanie Harrison, Organizer.
The group says they won’t stop until they see the violence come to an end in Charlotte.
