Sunny Skies Remain, Tracking Approaching Rain
While the weekend will stay quiet, the week ahead will be anything but.
We’re off to a gorgeous start this weekend, as sunny skies and seasonable highs take hold of the Carolinas. Expect the good times to keep rolling into Sunday as well before a messy rainmaking system arrives by Monday morning. Off-and-on rainfall can be expected through Tuesday morning, before clearing out by the afternoon. Tuesday is looking extremely warm, as many Piedmont locations could make a strong run into the 70s for the first time all year. Believe it or not, we could go from near-record highs on Tuesday to wintry weather late on Wednesday. While a lot of moving pieces still need to fall in place for snow to arrive in the Piedmont next week, chances are good for some decent totals in the High Country.
