UNC officials say fans were able to submit photos of themselves by January 20th, to be made into cutouts, that would hold their seat virtually in the Smith Center and Carmichael Arena.
Fans get to keep their cutouts after the 2020-21 season, and will be able to pick them up after the final home game or get them shipped for a small delivery fee, according to a news release.
Officials say fans also had the option of getting their cutout signed by some of their favorite UNC players and coaches for a higher price.
Cutout options for men and women’s basketball included:
Men’s Basketball:
- Fan cutout: $60
- Fan cutout signed by Phil Ford, Dave Hanners, and John Kuester: $100
- Fan cutout signed by Head Coach Roy Williams: $250
Women’s Basketball:
- Fan cutout: $60
- Fan cutout signed by Head Coach Courtney Banghart: $120
Officials say the last order of cutouts will be installed by January 30th
